In view of the security and law and order on Chhath Puja, additional forces will be deployed in 22 districts
In view of the security and law and order on Mahaparv Chhath Puja, additional force will be deployed to 22 districts of the state, apart from the Sahastra force, lathi party and home guard personnel, as per the order issued by the Police Headquarters. More police Bal Pramukhs will be deployed around Chhath Ghat to help the police.

जिन 22 जिलों में अतिरिक्त बालों की नियुक्ति की जाएगी, उनमें पटना, नालंदा, गया, औरंगाबाद, जहानाबाद, कैमूर, मुजफ्फरपुर, सीतामढ़ी, वैशाली, भागलपुर, मुंगेर, बेगूसराय, दरभंगा, समस्तीपुर, सारण, सिवान, मोतीहारी, कटिहार, बांका, पूर्णिया, जमुई और लखीसराय शामिल है, इनमें सबसे अधिक पटना जिले को सर्वाधिक अतिरिक्त बल दिया जाएगा, बिहार विशेष सहस्त्र पुलिस की तीन कंपनी के अलावा 800 लाठी बल और 1000 होमगार्ड जवान उपलब्ध कराएं जाएंगे।

पुलिस मुख्यालय ने छठ महापर्व के अवसर पर दंगा निरोधक कंपनियों की तैनाती जरूरत के मुताबिक करने के भी आदेश दिए है, रेंज आईजी और डीआईजी को दिशा निर्देश दिए गए हैं की वह क्षेत्र में जरूरत के अनुसार उपलब्ध दंगा निरोधक कंपनी की नियुक्ति करेंगे, इन सभी अतिरिक्त बालों की प्रतिनियुक्ति 12 नंबर तक इन जिलों में रहेगी, वही सभी प्रतिनियुक्त बल 13 नवंबर को स्वतः अपने अपने वाहिनी मुख्यालय वापस चले जाएं।
