RJD leader was brutally murdered with a knife during panchayat elections, wife was fighting for sarpanch election
As soon as Panchayat elections started in Bihar, incidents of killing of candidates and attacks on them are happening in many places, the husband of Rewa Panchayat Sarpanch candidate of Samastipur, Hema Devi’s husband and RJD leader Shri Krishna Rai was murdered by unknown criminals, After the murder, the Khanpur-Kusheshwarsthan road was blocked for 4 hours by the angry villagers demanding the criminals.

जानकारी के अनुसार आरजेडी नेता और खानपुर के रेवाड़ा पंचायत के सरपंच पद की उम्मीदवार हेमा देवी के पति श्रीकृष्ण राय की अज्ञात अपराधियों ने चाकू गोदकर निर्मम हत्या कर दी, घटना तब घटित हुई जब वह रात्रि के करीब 9:00 बजे अपनी साइकिल से दूध लेने रेवाड़ा गए हुए थे, देर रात तक जब वह वापस नहीं लौटे तो परिजनों के द्वारा अपने स्तर से उनकी खोजबीन शुरू की गई लेकिन कुछ पता नहीं चल सका।
According to the information, Shri Krishna Rai, the husband of RJD leader and candidate for the post of Sarpanch of Rewa Panchayat of Khanpur, Hema Devi, was stabbed to death by unknown criminals, the incident happened when she was taking milk from her cycle at around 9:00 pm. Had gone to Rewara, when he did not return till late night, his family members started his search from their level but nothing could be found.

सुबह में ग्रामीणों ने रेवाड़ा चौक से महज कुछ दूरी पर पकहा चौक में उनकी साइकिल खड़ी देखी जिसके कुछ ही दूरी पर धान खेत में उनका शव पड़ा था, जिसके बाद ग्रामीणों ने इसकी सूचना परिजनों को दी जिसके बाद इसकी सूचना खानपुर थाना को दिया।
In the morning, the villagers saw his bicycle parked at Pakaha Chowk, just a short distance away from Rewara Chowk, after which his body was lying in the paddy field, after which the villagers informed the family members, after which they informed the Khanpur police station.

घटना की सूचना पर मौके पहुंची, पुलिस मामले की जांच पड़ताल में जुट गई है वही घटना से आक्रोशित ग्रामीणों ने खानपुर-कुशेश्वरस्थान मार्ग को जाम कर जमकर हंगामा किया ग्रामीण अपराधियों की गिरफ्तारी की मांग कर रहे थे, जिसके बाद ग्रामीणों को समझा बुझाकर 4 घंटे बाद जाम को हटवाया गया, घटना को लेकर लोगों के द्वारा आशंका जताई जा रही है कि अपराधियों के द्वारा चुनावी रंजिश को लेकर इस घटना को अंजाम दिया गया है बरहाल पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी है।
