घायल की पहचान थाना क्षेत्र इलाके के पथरा दक्षिण पंचायत सिकंदर मंडल के रूप में हुई है, उससे बताया कि शनिवार की देर रात बेला टोला में महिला से मिलने गया था इस बात की भनक महिला के परिवार वालों और ग्रामीणों को लग गई, इसके बाद लोगों ने उसकी लाठी-डंडे से पिटाई की और ग्रामीणों ने उसकी आंखों में तेजाब डाल दिया, वह महिला को आधार कार्ड देने गया था पर लोगों ने गलत समझ उसकी पिटाई कर दी।

वही इस संबंध में एसपी डी अमर्केश ने बताया कि बेला टोला में युवक की पिटाई की सूचना मिली, सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने उसे लोगों से छुड़ाया, उसे सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है इलाज जारी है, एसपी ने युवक की आंखों में तेजाब डालने घटना से इनकार किया है।
