3 SAP jawans have been arrested for illegal recovery at the consolidated check post under Mohania police station area of Kaimur district, in fact on Friday night, on the instructions of Kaimur Superintendent of Police, Mohania’s DSP Faiz Ahmed Khan arrested three SAP jawans for illegal recovery from trucks. Caught red handed, recovery money has also been recovered from them.

इन जवानों को शनिवार को भभुआ जेल भेज दिया गया, डीएसपी ने शनिवार को मोहनिया थाना में प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान बताया कि पुलिस अधीक्षक को शुक्रवार की रात सूचना मिली थी कि समेकित चेकपोस्ट पर यूपी की तरफ से आने वाले ट्रकों से वहां तैनात सैप के जवान अवैध वसूली कर रहे हैं उनके नेतृत्व में टीम गठित कर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए चेकपोस्ट पर रात्रि में छापेमारी की गई।

जहां से सैप के 3 जवान ट्रकों से अवैध वसूली करते रंगे हाथ पकड़े गए, उनके पास से वसूली के 12180 रूपए बरामद हुए हैं, पकड़े गए तीनों जवानों को शनिवार को जेल भेज दिया गया, वहीं डीएसपी ने बताया कि अवैध वसूली से पुलिस की छवि पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ता है, पूर्व में भी चेकपोस्ट पर तैनात पुलिसकर्मियों को ईमानदारी से कार्य करने की नसीहत दी जा चुकी है, इसके बाद भी सैप जवानों ने इसे गंभीरता से नहीं लिया जिसके खामियाजा उन्हें भुगतना पड़ा।
