In a joint action of RPF and Customs at Raxaul railway station in East Champaran, Chinese apples kept in private parcels of Satyagraha Express have been confiscated, customs had received secret information that Chinese apples were smuggled from Nepal at night to Raxaul, In various trains to be sent from other parts of the country, customs started raids with the help of RPF, during which 118 cartons of Chinese apples have been recovered from the private parcel bogie of Satyagraha train.

इस संबंध में आरपीएफ इंस्पेक्टर ने बताया कि नेपाल में चाइनीज सेब काफी सस्ते दाम नेपाली सौ रुपए किलो मिलता है, उसे भारत में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में 200 से 250 रूपए किलो बेचा जाता है, इसी वजह से अंधेरे का फायदा उठाकर नेपाल बॉर्डर पर रक्सौल के विभिन्न जगह पर रखा जाता है इस दौरान जैसे ट्रेन जाने वाली होती है तो तस्कर प्राइवेट पार्सल में भरकर अन्य क्षेत्रों में भेज देते हैं इस तरह के सिंडिकेट काम करते हैं, छापेमारी की टीम में कस्टम प्रवक्ता इंस्पेक्टर देवेश कुमार, रितेश कुमार आदि मौजूद थे।
