घटना के बाद पिता के द्वारा इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी गई जिसके बाद विश्वविद्यालय पुलिस घटनास्थल पहुंची और आग बुझाई, इसके बाद पुलिस ने तीनों बेटियों को हिरासत में ले लिया है, पुलिस तीनों से पूछताछ कर रही है वही पीड़ित पिता अरुण साह ने बताया कि उन्होंने अपनी तीनों बेटे की शादी कर दी है तीनों बेटियों का ससुराल में पति से विवाद हो गया जिसके बाद वह ससुराल नहीं जा रही है अब तीनों एकजुट होकर पैसे और जमीन की मांग कर रही हैं।
