मृत बच्ची के पिता ने बताया कि शुक्रवार की सुबह भभुआ-भगवानपुर पथ के पास खेल रही थी इसी दौरान सड़क के पूरब तरफ से आ रही एक बाइक ने उसे जोरदार टक्कर मार दी, बाइक से टक्कर के बाद बच्ची करीब 20 मीटर तक बाइक से घिसटती रही।

घटना के बाद बाइक सवार बाइक लेकर भगवानपुर की ओर भाग गया, जिसके बाद आनन-फानन में आसपास के लोगों ने इसकी सूचना परिजनों को दी और परिजन बच्ची को भभुआ सदर अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे जहां चिकित्सकों ने बच्ची को मृत घोषित कर दिया।

घटना के बाद परिजनों का रो रो कर बुरा हाल है वहीं सदर थाना कि पुलिस ने शव का पोस्टमार्टम कराते हुए उन्हें परिजनों को सौंप दिया।
