जानकारी देते हुए चैनपुर थानाध्यक्ष संजय कुमार पासी के द्वारा बताया गया गुप्तचरों के माध्यम से सूचना मिली थी कि ग्राम करजी के निवासी जवाहिर राम के पुत्र राजू राम शराब बेचने का कार्य कर रहे हैं, पुलिस के द्वारा जब छापेमारी की गई तब राजू राम अपने घर के सामने ही शराब बेच रहे थे।

तलाशी के दौरान बगल में ही उनके द्वारा लिए गए थैले में से 17 पीस प्रत्येक 200ml कुल 3 लीटर देसी शराब बरामद हुआ मौके पर से कारोबारी को गिरफ्तार करते हुए चैनपुर थाना लाने के उपरांत मामले में प्रतिबंधित शराब की बिक्री के आरोप में प्राथमिकी दर्ज करते हुए मेडिकल जांच करवाकर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया।
