A motorcycle and a truck collided in the northern lane between village Dhanecha and Khamidora on the National Highway at around 11 o’clock on Sunday under Durgavati police station area of Kaimur district, killing one person on a motorcycle while the driver suffered minor injuries.

मृतक की पहचान स्थानीय थाना क्षेत्र के अशोगा गांव के रहने वाले सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता आदित्य राय पिता सिंहासन राय के रूप में की गई है जबकि दूसरा साथी जितेंद्र खरवार दुर्गावती स्टेशन का निवासी है, बताया जा रहा है कि दोनों भेरिया गांव से निजी कार्य को कर वापस लौट रहे थे, घर आने क्रम में नेशनल हाईवे पर धनेछा और खामीदौरा के बीच बाइक में पीछे से आ रही बेकाबू ट्रक ने जोरदार टक्कर मार दी जिससे बाइक सड़क किनारे जा पलटी और दोनों सवार घायल हो गए।

घटना के बाद आसपास के लोगों ने दोनों को इलाज के लिए स्थानीय पीएचसी पहुंचाया जहां चिकित्सकों के द्वारा उनका इलाज किया गया, लेकिन सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता आदित्य राय की स्थिति नाजुक देखते हुए डॉक्टरों ने ट्रामा सेंटर रेफर कर दिया जबकि बाइक चालक जितेंद्र खरवार को हल्की चोटें आई हैं जो खतरे से बाहर है।

वहीं दोपहर 3 बजे ट्रामा सेंटर में इलाज के दौरान सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता की मौत हो गई, मृतक को 2 पुत्र है मृतक समाज में काफी सम्मानित व्यक्ति थे और बड़े किसान थे, उनकी मौत की खबर सुनते ही प्रखंड वासियों में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई।
