Consumers caught stealing electricity by bypassing meter, FIR registered in the case

While raiding by the team of Electricity Department in village Suhawal of Chainpur police station area of Kaimur district, a consumer was caught red handed by the Electricity Department team while bypassing the meter and using electric energy, in the said case while fined the consumer. FIR has been lodged
मामले को लेकर चैनपुर थाने में विद्युत कनीय अभियंता जयराम कुमार के द्वारा दिए गए आवेदन में बताया गया है कि विद्युत चोरी की रोकथाम के लिए एक टीम का गठन किया गया था जिसमें अधोहस्ताक्षरी के अलावा विनय कुमार सहायक विद्युत अभियंता भभुआ ग्रामीण, शाकिर जफर सहायक विद्युत अभियंता एसटीएफ भभुआ मोहम्मद जावेद अंसारी कनीय विद्युत अभियंता प्रशाखा चांद एवं अजय कुमार सिंह मानव बल शामिल थे।
Regarding the matter, in the application given by Jairam Kumar, Electrical Junior Engineer at Chainpur police station, it has been told that a team was formed for the prevention of theft of electricity, in which Vinay Kumar, Assistant Electrical Engineer, Bhabhua Rural, Shakir Zafar Assistant Electricity, besides the undersigned. Engineer STF Bhabua Mohammad Javed Ansari Junior Electrical Engineer Prashakha Chand and Ajay Kumar Singh Manav Bal were involved.
दोपहर 12 बजे के करीब ग्राम सुहावल में नंदू शर्मा पिता स्वर्गीय डोमन शर्मा के यहां जांच किया गया, जांच के दौरान पाया गया कि लगाए गए मीटर के पूर्व मीटर बाईपास करते हुए एक तार जोड़कर 385 वाट विद्युत ऊर्जा का उपयोग किया जा रहा है। बिजली चोरी के इस कार्य से साउथ बिहार पावर डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कंपनी को 9275 का अनुमानित क्षति हुई है।
Around 12 noon, Nandu Sharma’s father Late Doman Sharma’s investigation was done in village Suhawal, during the investigation it was found that 385 watts of electrical energy is being used by connecting a wire bypassing the meter before the meter installed. South Bihar Power Distribution Company has suffered an estimated loss of 9275 due to this act of power theft.
इस मामले से संबंधित जानकारी लेने पर चैनपुर थानाध्यक्ष उदय भानु सिंह के द्वारा बताया गया कि विद्युत ऊर्जा चोरी से संबंधित प्राप्त आवेदन पर विद्युत अधिनियम 2003 की संशोधित धारा 135 के अंतर्गत प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर, कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
On taking information related to this matter, Chainpur Police Station Officer Uday Bhanu Singh told that action is being taken on the application received related to theft of electric energy by registering an FIR under the amended section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
