Surendra Yadav alias Pappu Yadav, husband of Subhadra Devi, the head of Bhorsar-Bhelwa panchayat under Katoria block of Banka district, was attacked by two unidentified people with a bomb late on Saturday night, but he narrowly escaped as the bomb did not explode.
जानकारी के अनुसार मुखिया पति सुरेंद्र यादव उर्फ पप्पू पंचायत के तुरी टोला के लोगों से मिलकर शनिवार की रात अपने घर पिपराडीह जा रहे थे, इसी क्रम में घर के निकट करीब 50 गज की दूरी पर पीछे से दो व्यक्तियों ने बम से हमला कर दिया, जिससे वह जख्मी हो गए और बम नहीं फटने से उनकी जान बाल-बाल बच गई।

वही बम हमले की घटना सुनकर मुखिया पति के घर पर सैकड़ों लोगों की भीड़ जमा हो गई, दोनों व्यक्तियों की खोजबीन की जाने लगी, लेकिन रात का अंधेरा होने के कारण कुछ भी पता नहीं चल सका।

वही इस समय पंचायत चुनाव चल रहा है इस वजह से मुखिया पति पर हुए हमले को चुनावी दुश्मनी की नजर से देखा जा रहा है, जिस बम से उन पर हमला किया गया है, उसे भी बरामद कर लिया गया है, घटना की जानकारी कटोरिया पुलिस को दे दी गई है पुलिस के द्वारा मामले की जांच पड़ताल की जा रही है।
