Bihar: कैमूर जिले के चैनपुर प्रखंड क्षेत्र में स्थित जेम्स प्रार्थना भवन में क्रिसमस डे यानी बड़ा दिन जिसे लोग ईसा मसीह (यीशु) के जन्मदिन के रूप में मनाते हैं, शनिवार 25 दिसंबर की सुबह निर्धारित समय पर प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन हुआ, जिसमें स्थानीय काफी लोगों के द्वारा हिस्सा लिया गया, इस दौरान पूरे चर्च को रंग बिरंगी लड़ियां एवं विभिन्न तरह के सजावटी सामानों से सजाया गया।

In the James Prarthana Bhawan located in Chainpur block area of Kaimur district, Christmas Day i.e. the big day which people celebrate as the birthday of Jesus Christ (Jesus), a prayer meeting was organized on the morning of Saturday 25 December at the scheduled time, in which a lot of local people During this time the whole church was decorated with colorful sticks and various types of decorative items.

स्थानीय युवक एवं युवतियों के द्वारा आयोजित रंग-बिरंगे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लिया गया, जिसमें डांस प्रोग्राम एवं स्थानीय लोक संगीत को प्रस्तुत किया गया। वही कुछ युवक युवतियों ने एक दूसरे को उपहार स्वरूप कई सामग्रियां भी दी गई, इस मौके पर ईसाई धर्म से जुड़े लोगों के साथ-साथ स्थानीय लोगों में भी क्रिसमस डे को लेकर विशेष उत्साह देखा गया काफी संख्या में लोग चर्च में पहुंचे और चल रहे कार्यक्रम का लोगों के द्वारा लुफ्त उठाया।
A colorful cultural program organized by the local youth and girls was participated in which dance program and local folk music were presented. The same few young men and women were also given many materials as gifts to each other, on this occasion special enthusiasm was seen among the people associated with Christianity as well as the local people regarding Christmas Day, a large number of people reached the church and running. The program was thoroughly enjoyed by the people.

आपको बता दें चैनपुर प्रखंड क्षेत्र में 20 वर्ष पूर्व की अपेक्षा वर्तमान समय में अचानक से प्रखंड क्षेत्र के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में लगभग आधा दर्जन के करीब जेम्स प्रार्थना भवन का निर्माण हो गया, स्थानीय कई लोगों के द्वारा अपना धर्म परिवर्तन करते हुए ईसाई धर्म को अपना लिया गया, वर्तमान समय में यहां धर्म परिवर्तन के बाद ईसाई धर्म को अपनाने वाले लोगों की संख्या बढ़ गई है, जिनके द्वारा प्रार्थना सभाओं में हिस्सा लेते हुए धूमधाम से क्रिसमस डे मनाया जाता है।
